FIFTHTEXAS Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Hi trying to create a dwf file from an x-ref, x-ref is 2mb in size however when i save it as a dwf it goes to 17mb for some reason, any ideas why this happens Quote

CyberAngel Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 One possibility is that you have a lot of hatching in the original drawing. When it converts to DXF, the pattern is not represented as one object the way it is in AutoCAD--it becomes hundreds or thousands of individual objects. Quote
