Problem republishing .dwf from markup manager

Hi guys, my engineer asked for some plots for reviewing but i was feeling eco today so i thought; let's give design review a try!

I plotted my plans to .dwf from modelspace, markups were made in design review and i then opened the marked .dwfs using the markup manager, so far so good.

Then i changed what was asked, flagged the markings done and saved but then when i try to republish my sheet (using the markup manager) i either get: "file already in use by another program..." or acad starts publishing but i get a plotting error (error device not found).

I tried changing my pagesetups, tried the same procedure but with .dwfs from my layout but got the same results.

What am i doing wrong?

I think i found the cause, the republish option searches for the original dwf .pc3, i had a renamed one so it wasn't found by republish
