mateen Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 hi every one, previous day one of the company send drawings in my office which is made on model space and his scale is 1:200 it is reduce scale, but my engineer said to me you have to set this one drawing on paper space and when i shift that one drawing model to paper space it was reduce so that time i thought i have to change the scale so i select enlarge scale on paper space which is 10:1..... so want to ask this in one of the lighting symbol which is 1200mm in drawing of the full size scale 1:1. so i want jump 1:1 scale to 10:1 scale so i waana ask that block scale how many times.......... Organic Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 It's a bit hard to follow what exactly you are saying here. So you were sent a drawing which was not drawn 1:1 in modelspace, but was drawn 1:200 in modelspace (not utilizing paperspace at all I assume)? I'd scale the modelspace down to 1:1 and then set up your paperspace viewport accordingly at the desired scale. If you had a block 1200mm in size at 1:1 supposedly and want to increase its size by 10, simply scale the block (X,Y and Z Note: Unless the Z value holds elevation etc) by a factor of 10 also. Quote
