kencaz Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 AutoCAD cannot change the native resolution of the image it's only zooming in on it as you can see. The best and possibly only option is to try an obtain the image in a higher resolution, although it may be able to be re-sized and cleaned up using photo editing software. KC Quote
Cad64 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 thing..... threres a software that reasolve this.... There is a plug-in for Photoshop that allows you to resize images without losing resolution. It's called "Perfect Resize" and it works wonderfully. But, if your original image is too small or is too low-res, even this program won't be able to help. Edit: Apparently it now works as a stand-alone application, so you don't even need Photoshop anymore. They have a 30 day trial version you can download. Quote
Organic Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 No program can (with any decent rate of success) create image data that is not there to begin with, Quote
Cad64 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Try the program I suggested. I think you will be very surprised at what CAN be done. Quote
CyberAngel Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Another way to attack the problem is to trace what you need from the image at its normal size, then scale up the linework. Quote
daft vader Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 you can resize a image using photo shop, but u have to do it in stages like -10% at a time and then it is ok quality Quote
