mvrcad Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Hi all an engineer here would like me to do a P & ID drawing for him, however he would like to know if i can add attributes to the block symbols so that he can recover / export them to a database such as excell for parts lists and so forth. i think i learnt about this years ago, but cant figure out where to start. cheers Marcus Quote
mvrcad Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 can it work both ways? ie the engineer would like the P & ID symbols to have attributes that can be updated on a spreadsheet, which will update a data table or attributes on the Cad drawing. Quote
