Hy,

Its me again. I have an other question. does anyone now how I can change the sequence in my propertieswindow?

I give in my parameters and wich parameter I put in first comes on top of the properties list. If I delete the parameter that is first on the list and I put it in again it joins the list at the botom.

Now I want to control the sequence of the properties window so I can have it for al blocks the same. that makes it easier to use.

Like in the picture that you can find in the attachment. I want to put elements on top of the list so I can choose The elements (with visibility) first and then I want to put in the width and height.

regards,

Dennis

As far as i am aware you can not change these.. they come as they are. Why would you want to change them anyway?

Because I have a lot of blocks with a lot of parameters. the attachment was an example. And it is more user friendly if every block is the same.

Not like this:

Block 1:

width: 5

height: 6

visibility: none

front 1: 1

front 3: 1

front 2: 1

Block 2:

height: 6

front 1: 1

width: 5

front 3: 1

visibility: none

front 2: 1

It is just making it difficult for the user. And this is for my internship and my thesis. so I want some uniformity in my blocks.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to arrange attributes? If you just want certain categories open when you start the properties window, then just close the ones you do not use/need and they will be closed the next time you open properties for blocks, etc.

I hope you explain your Thesis better than you have your problem, because you are as clear as mud as to your problem.

I just want to arrange the Parameters.

If I give in a parameter it will join in the propertieswindow under "custom", unless You select "no" in "show properties". But I want the parameters that I show in properties in in order.

so I need all the parrameters but they are mixed and I find it confusing if the parameters aren't in order.

Like this

Block 1:

width: 5

height: 6

visibility: none

front 1: 1

front 2: 1

front 3: 1

Not like this

Block 2:

height: 6

front 1: 1

width: 5

front 3: 1

visibility: none

front 2: 1

More clear now???

Have you tried using the parameters manager? Type PARAMETERS on commandline while in the block editor. See if yopu can rearrange them there and if that will reflect in Properties palette. AFAIK they are in the Properties pallet in the order created.

PS

I will check further when I have time.
