Lets see what you got.

Does your computer have any specifications?

What exactly do you have drawn that is getting faded?

What happens when you zoom in and out in Model Space?

What type of Zoom are you doing?

Do you wear glasses or contacts?

The color of what objects? Those in model space or those in your paper space layout?

I think it would be helpful to all if you 1) provided better (more) detail and 2) perhaps include a screenshot or the actual drawing file you are experiencing the trouble with.

Does this happen in just one drawing or any drawing you are working in?

I think I solved with the glasses or contacts. You would be surprised the difference in clear glasses/contacts vs foggy/dirty.

I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything like that before.

Post the drawing if possible.

Or least answer my questions....
