Arizona Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I've converted a bunch of Splines to PLines, but there are many vertexes stacked up on top of themselves in the new Plines. Like a pline that when selected shows only 5 grips, yet when listed it has 24 vertexes. Anyone have a Lisp or know of a command to Remove all these duped up vertexes. It's killing the files. Thanks, Jeff Quote
Arizona Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 Thanks Nestly, but yea, I tried that. Good example is one pline that had 16 vertexes but only 6 grips showing, had 84 vertexes after overkill. Am I not using Overkill properly? Quote
Cad64 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Maybe give this a try: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?17067-reduce-number-of-polyline-points Quote
Murph_map Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 If you are using LDT or Civil3D then the Map dwg clean up and weed the polyline. See the help files on the tolerances settings. Quote
Arizona Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Thanks CAD64. That looks like one powerfull routine. It has defined path info in it so I'll have to mess with it a bit to make it function and see what all it does. And Murph - That's Right!! MapClean can weed polylines! I forgot all about that! Thanks Murph. Quote
