Hi!

I know it is possible to measure objects in 3D space but I have yet to find a method of creating annotation lines (angles, distances, etc) in 3D. Is this even possible?

Flattening my object only works in some instances as it depends on its shape.

Thanks!

Hi Merk1b2,

A few months ago, I made a short video about 3D dimensioning, perhaps this video gives you an idea: http://youtu.be/ueWA_C3u7GI

Watch it in HD Full Screen :D

Yes it is if you know how to manipulate your UCS and move its Origin.

With the new AutoCAD 2012 it's very easy you just click the USC and drag it to wherever you want it.
