Whenever I stretch objects that have been hatched (from a drawing previously produced in AutoCad) the hatching either stays in the same position or goes haywire & spills out of the hatch area.

What do I need to do to prevent this?

Regards

Briton

Wouldn't the option "Associative" have to be checked off to prevent this?

are you sure your objects are drawn on a plane, i.e. if some points are not on Z=0 then the hatching can go a bit mad.

A hatch pattern will sometimes spill out of an area due to a gap in the linework.
