Glen1980 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I have been happily x-reffing for years but recently my x-refs will randomly disappear when I reload them. I have checked the file name seems to be the same the paths match where the file is (on a network drive if that matters.) I defenitely haven't deleted the x-ref on the model space. Does anyone else have this or any solutions? I can quite easily re-attach them but it is still a PITA. I have attached a screen shot of the x-ref manager and the file manager so if anyone spots a silly let me know. Quote
RobDraw Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 That does seem odd. Is it only when you reload the XREF? i.e. It's there when you open the file, you make changes to the XREF which requires a reload, and then POOF! no more XREF. Does this happen when you reload any XREF in any file or is it just certain XREFs in certain files or somewhere in between? Quote
Glen1980 Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 D'oh, just realized I did a save as and moved it to a slightly different folder structure position, hence the relative path isn't the same. Cheers though Rob, your comment got me thinking. Maybe time for a holiday! Quote
SLW210 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 We get a holiday in the States, I will be off work from today till next Wednesday. I won't mention what the Holiday is. I have had times when I needed to reattach a file for no apparent reason. Most times my files are in the same folder. Quote
