Multileaders size, style and support

Hi

Using AC 2008 LT at work and full 2009 at home.

  1. When using annotative objects like multileaders, the text who use to be fixed 12 units, will be come 0.24 units in order to have normal size. i just want to understand why it behaves like this?

  1. Regarding to multileader style, I really got lost there, understanding between global style properties vs the properties panel change.

For some reason the multileaders in my drawing don’t react to any change made to their style. how can I override a local change? and how can I update the style with the changes made via the properties panel?

  1. Annotation is great, but what will happened when I send my drawing to someone that dooesnt know what is annotation and or have earlier version than AC 2008?

Thanks

1. You need to create the text height at 1:1 scale for the desired printed text height. 3/32" tall text is the standard for us, so I would draw the MLEADER and Text to fit around that size. Then when you add Annotative properties, it will match accordingly to the proper scale.

1. Global would be the style itself, Properties panel would be considered the override. I very rarely use Properties to adjust things, only when absolutely needed for a particular view I'm working on.

They should most definitely react to the change in style. Make sure you're not adjusting the override.

1. Just save down to an earlier version and it will take care of the Annotative properties.

1.if im being more practical here. i used the Standard Mleader style, i set text wtih hight of 12. i add 1:50 and 1:20 annotive sacle. the annotative text looks a gaint compare to the 1:1 scale. is that the way it should be?

2.with properties panel you can preview the changhes, with the style dialog you cant. that the reason why i use the properties panel . right now all my multyleaders are overriden, so how can i clear those overrides so the multileader wil be govern by the style?

3. soud safe.
