AutoCADMap2011, Erasing Lidar Points very slow

Hello, my manager erased 500,000 points in Autocad 2000. I am using Map 2011 and it takes minutes to erase 20,000 points of lidar. I have searched all setting variable options and nothing has worked. I am running an I7 with whipthread set to 3. Does somebody know why the 2000 version is much faster than 2011?:unsure:

Just got the service request back, it takes 5 seconds do do 750,000 points with plain CAD and 24 mins to do 250,000 points with MAP 3d. Government has to start governing the regression of programs. I have Windows seven now, I cant even paste hyperlinks anymore:(
