Is there a way to take data from my GPS equipment (state plane grid northing and easting) and import it into AutoCAD (Land Desktop 2008 ) still as a state plane coordinate and not a "ground" coordinate?

Can you do that in your Data Collector? You should be able to setup the DC for Grid and export and text file. LDD will take a text file. What kind of software are you using? I know TDS and TSC will do it.

We use a Trimble TSC2 and TGO software to download our GPS positions, What coding has to be in the text file to show that it is a grid coordinate? Every time I have tried to import State plane coordinates into CAD it thinks it is a ground coordinate, not a grid, so when I use the Geodetic Labels it gives the wrong results.
