MichaelWest Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Is there a way to take data from my GPS equipment (state plane grid northing and easting) and import it into AutoCAD (Land Desktop 2008 ) still as a state plane coordinate and not a "ground" coordinate? Quote
wrmurphy81 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Can you do that in your Data Collector? You should be able to setup the DC for Grid and export and text file. LDD will take a text file. What kind of software are you using? I know TDS and TSC will do it. Quote
MichaelWest Posted July 19, 2011 Author Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) We use a Trimble TSC2 and TGO software to download our GPS positions, What coding has to be in the text file to show that it is a grid coordinate? Every time I have tried to import State plane coordinates into CAD it thinks it is a ground coordinate, not a grid, so when I use the Geodetic Labels it gives the wrong results.
