I just got a new workstation Hooray for me. :D

Windows 7, 64 bit

I still have an old HP450C Plotter that is on it's last legs.

I can't find a driver that works.

Do you know where I can find one?

In the long run, I am going to have to invest in a new Printer.

What do you think of the HP Designjet T790 ePrinter?

Will the Cheapie $2,500.00 model do everything my 450C did and more?

The only upgrade that I really do want is the ability to Scan large prints (C, and D size)

I am using Inventor Suite 2010, and I am no longer under AutoCad support.

Thanks for any replies.

Did you check the HP website for one specific to your printer or a "generic" (one size fits all) driver?

Yes, that's where I got the idea for the T790

I see. Well, looks like you are going shopping then. Another new toy!

You could always get a cheap XP computer and set it up as a print server. I guess you can still do stuff like that, been a very long time since I tried. We had an old serial pen plotter that was a back up for our HP600. When it was down, we'd use the pen plotter if something just had to go that day. Had an old clunky computer hooked up to it, would dump a plot file to it and let it feed the plotter.
