DODGE Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Hi Guys My daughter has just downloaded AutoCad 2011 student ver for Mac. I must say it looks quite differant from what I am used to. Is there anyway of changing this to the classic look. I have heard that it is not possible in mac. She is the only one in her class with a mac and her tutor wants all students to have classic view. Thanks Guys. Quote
Organic Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 It is not possible as far as I am aware. Only one person with a Mac in her class? Go to a college here and the majority will have Macs these days with Windows laptops now in the minority. Quote
ReMark Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Since there was no recent "previous" edition of AutoCAD for the Mac AutoDesk did not have to provide that option. Anyway, the teacher should be instructing the class in the use of the Ribbon not reverting to "classic" mode. Quote
JD Mather Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Go to a college here and the majority will have Macs these days with Windows laptops now in the minority. Not here. Most everyone entering college in this field already know it is Windows OS dominated field before the choosing the major. The Windows version can be run on a Mac. Search Google for the Autodesk instructions. Quote
