Hatching

HI

Looking how the best way to hatch out lines, equipment being removed on drawings. is it possible to create a linetype so it would be easy to just follow a line that needs hatching, or create a multiline, any ideas? just looking at an easy way of achieving this.

Not really following what you are trying to do, but there are plenty of threads around on creating custom linetypes.

I use layers and transparency to differentiate demo work and new work along with notation.

Someone posted a custom linetype a while back that included the cross-hatching necessary to denote walls, etc. that had to be removed during the demolition phase. A search of CADTutor should turn it up.
