Schumi Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I have one particular drawing file doing this, I've never seen before and can't seem to find any posts with the same issue. When I plot a layout from within this particular drawing, it plots the layout as expected, but then the plotter (HP 1055, AutoCAD 2005) continues to feed paper from the roll. Have to open cover and power down to stop the paper feed and clear the queue. As I say, I've never had this problem with any other drawing. Same result on multiple PCs here. Has anyone encountered this before? Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. TJ Quote
SLW210 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Can you post a screen shot of your plot setting or the drawing? Quote
RobDraw Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I would guess that you are plotting with the plot area set to "Extents" and there is an object way out in space somewhere. Try switching the plot area to "Window" and see if the problem persists. If so, go and erase that errant object. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Rob is probably right, but if all else fails, copyclip the drawing into a new one and save over it. That should stop it. Quote
