Mike S
I use Map 3D 2011 and know you can export data out as a shape file. The question I have is my background image is a MrSID file and I want to know if it is possible to export this image as a shape file? SLW210
Did you try? I will move this to the MAP3D forum for you.
Mike S
Yes I tried to export the images but when I get to the selection box I run into a snag. I can select the images but it always filters them out no matter which options I choose.
Murph_map
No, a shape file is a vector base just like a autocad dwg file is, the sid is raster format. Most GIS software that can read a shape file can also read an raster file.
