Hi.

When I plot my drawings the spaces between the small lines of the center line or dot line are so small that the line becomes continuous.

My Settings

Units: millimeter

plot scale in model / paper space: 1 m = 1 unit

scale of the view port: 1:100

line weight: 0.5 center line

0.25 dot line

PS: What are common line weight for the paper sizes A4 to A0?

change the variable LTSCALE til you find a setting that looks right. You might have to go far up (100 000) or far down (0.00 00 001) so keep trying.

Thank you. I solved the problem with your hint.

Is there also a possibility to scale the look of the lines just in the model, not the plot? Because now the plot is nice, but at the laptop screen there is no difference between a continuous line and green hidden line.

Use LTSCALE to set the scale in MSPACE then use PSLTSCALE in PSPACE and set the variable to 0 if it's 1. Be sure to do a REGEN after setting the variable.

Good luck!

Nice!!! It works.

But now I have to reset all my scale settings :-(

I've tried that also...this info works much...

Next problem:

I don't want to set all scales at the beginning of each new drawing or during doing on. But how can I save the linetype scale, for the different layers?

the LTSCALE and PSLTSCALE is one setting for your entire drawing, not something you set for each layer. Make sure you have the appropriate linetypes for each layer in your template (.dwt).

I can set the PSLTSCALE (just on/off) for model space and each paper space in one drawing separately on or off.

And the I am able to set and different line type scale via PROPERTIES for each line in my drawing, even if the lines are in the same layer.

But you are right with LTSCALE, which influences the line type scale of all lines at once.
