SLW210 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 You need to copy and paste the image from a photo editor like Paint. Do a search plenty of info on this subject and more methods. Best would be to recreate as an AutoCAD object. Use _ETRANSMIT to send the file with the drawing. Quote
Jack_O'neill Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Jpg's work very much like x-refs. If you send the file to someone, you need to include the actual image file. As SLW210 said, 'etransmit' will allow you to bundle your drawing, any images and xrefs, plotter information, all that stuff in a zip file to send. Check your help files for details on how to use it. It's pretty easy once you done it a couple times. Quote
bennyboy86 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 i had the same problem i use OLE OBJECT, no matter what, have never lost the logos since i asked the same question. and yeah etransmit definitely the way to go. Quote
wings Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 You need to copy and paste the image from a photo editor like Paint. lol - I always thought that was strange, but have been doing so for a while. Many times I use Word. If I just paste the image in Word, and then cut it out of Word and paste it into the drawing there's no path created, thus no issues when/ if the drawing path is broken. Quote
