Kremer Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Is there a way to mass change text, as in I have our standard text style and we need to use the same font as the rest of the consultants. Ideally I would like to 'replace' our font style with theirs and not have to select any text and change it manually. I'm hoping and praying, thanks in advance. Quote
ReMark Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I pretty sure there is as I recall an old lisp routine I used called ChangeStyle (cs.lsp) that one would use to change text styles globally. Got to be another lisp routine (or two) just like it somewhere. Quote
ReMark Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I found a lisp routine that purports to globally change the text style not only of regular text but MText as well. It is called TStyle and was written by Russell Steffy and submitted to the South Plains AutoCAD Users Group in 2003. You can find it here... http://www.spaug.org/LISP_Index03.Html Quote
Kremer Posted September 23, 2011 Author Posted September 23, 2011 Thank you very much! I will take it for a spin this weekend. Have a great weekend ReMark Quote
ReMark Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 You're entirely welcomed Kremer. Let us know how it goes. Have a great weekend yourself. Quote
rkent Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Unless I am not understanding your question, you open STYLE, and in the text style name you have been using you pick the font name your consultants are using. So Standard style is set to romans, you simply pick Arial font, as an example. Quote
Tankman Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I too ReMark am going to try the lisp. Needed one on occasion. Quote
