autocad print pdf or machine problem

Hi All,

Every time i print pdf or print to the printer machine, the output is black colour no matter what object i print. any help please.

Check what ctb file you are using, it might be that.

also check the Properties of the printer. when you go into Plot window and pick the printer, its settings might be to black only, try going into properties, then custom properties, then usually the end tab is the colour tab go there and change the color mode. only problem is this is only temp unless you save as. click ok until it pops up with a window that says changes to printer configuration file, it ask if you want to save changes, click this one but change the name of plotter so you ahve both version and away you go....also if you are using the index colors of 1 to 9 normally will print out in black and white as that is how they set. so if you want it to print out say red you must use color 10 not color 1. hope that helps and makes sense.

At my last job, we had an inkjet plotter that was color capable, but the color ink refils were 100 + bucks apiece. The boss only bought black.
