Vale
Hi Could anyone tell me if it is possible through ilogic to add rows in BOM list or in exported excel files of those BOMs? I have some parts from customer that include several fixings that are not modeled. Besides creating an assembly and adding the needed parts is there any way i could add new parts in the BOM of the assembly where that specific part is added? Thanks
jdkriek
If I understand you correctly you want to add items to the BOM that have not been modeled. You can right-click the BOM in the drawing and select "Edit Parts List". Right click a row in the table and select "Insert Custom Part". This will allow you to add rows to the BOM for which there is no physical model.
MarkFlayler
If you want it in the BOM and not the Parts List you will have to create a Virtual Component.
chapincougars
I am creating a drawing that needs to add more than 50 "custom parts" and attach balloons so that I can copy and paste if the balloon data changes. Does anyone know how to add the "custom part" efficiently rather than adding line by line? Can this be done with import/export or copy/paste?
