Cad64
You can poly model these in Max if you really want to, but if it were me, I would use a sculpting program like ZBrush or Mudbox to do this type of work. Or you could use Sculptris or Blender, which are both free.

Cad64
it's kinda hard for me to do a shape like this That's why I would sculpt these shells. Organic objects are much easier to sculpt than they are to model. You could model it in Studio Max but it won't be easy to do and it won't be easy to explain how to do it either, especially to someone who is new to the program. Do you know what an FFD modifier is? Do you know about the Swift Loop tool? Do you know what Turbosmooth does? Do you know how to use Soft Selection? I used all of these tools in the creation of what you see below. I didn't spend much time on it, only about 15 minutes, and it doesn't really look much like a shell, but the general idea is there. It would take a lot more work to get it to look really good. Raudel Solis
Cad 64.. you can add a bend modifier to give your shell more character
Cad64
Actually, you would need 2 Bend modifiers. One for the X axis and one for the Y axis, but like I said: I didn't spend much time on it, only about 15 minutes, and it doesn't really look much like a shell, but the general idea is there. It would take a lot more work to get it to look really good.
