Selected objects (polylines, hatch etc.) shows no selection in property command.

Hi,

I'm currently having diffulties editing my selections, specifically lines, hatching etc through the properties command. When I select a polyline or hatch and then select properties it shows that there is no selection. However if I select text I can edit the text style, but I can't change the colour. I've tried to change back to the default settings but that hasn't work.

I appreciate your feedback.

Please check the state of PICKFIRST system variable - it should be set to 1.

Please check also the PICKADD system variable also (I forgot to add this in previous post). It also have to be set to 1.

Sorry, in this case I don't know what can cause this.

It is a regularly behaviour or is just a new one? In the latest case a workstation reboot may help.

I have seen this isssue before and it may be a dotnet frame work issue or a window OS update. Sometimes a repair of AutoCAD will fix it other times I've seen where a uninstall of the dotnet and reinstall needed to be done. Try a repair of AutoCAd first then if that doesn't work a system restore (rollback) to a date that it did work if you set restore points set on the workstation.
