Tharwat Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 So you are looking for stealing things from drawing This precious thread Quote
wrha Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Inventory data like area , volume ,... etc from the my drawings i repeat again my drawings the process of identifying information, but frequent, especially in the that kind of drawings , such as shop drawings Quote
Tiger Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 1: put the stuff that you use frequently in a Template and use that to start each new drawing. 2: put the stuff you use frequently as Blocks (or one block with it all in) and Import that into your drawing. 3: Explore Design Center (keyboard command DC) to see if that information can be drag-n-dropped from the drawings there. If you are hell-bent on using a lisp for this (I think that would be inventing the wheel again and suggest using any of the methods above) I think you need to provide more information about what exactly you are looking to copy from your other drawings; blocks, text, styles, x-refs, attributes, what? wrha Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 what i need to import frome that dwg it data that data is text in table or in attribut format but its variable in many drawings i hope i can got that data from the many dwg @ once without opening the dwg almost that data it text . Quote
wrha Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 another thing its good idea i will put the text which i want got it again in layer but how i can import that many layer with contains to sapareat dwg . Quote
Tiger Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 While I doubt that it can be done without opening the drawings (either automatically or manually) I also know that the lisp-gurus here are amazing so I will not put it past them to have some trick up their sleeve. In the meantime, perhaps Data Extraction can get you a bit on the way. It should be able to get the data you need out of your drawing and you can save the settings as an Extraction Template so you can atleast do it all with just a few mouseclick in each drawing, even though you have to open the drawings to start Data Extraction. BlackBox Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 If you're wanting to copy entities from Model/Paper Space, then why wouldn't you open the drawing in the editor? It will take far less time to open the source drawing in the editor, in MDI mode (SDI = 0), and perform a simple Copy + Paste than it would be if you were to write the code necessary to do the same via ObjectDBX, let alone using C#/VB.NET [edit], or ObjectARX (C++ for AutoCAD)[/edit] dood. Just saying. Quote
Tiger Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Wrha, I deleted your duplicate thread, it was the same question that you have posted here. Quote
Cad64 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Wrha, your language is not acceptable. We do not tolerate blatant outbursts of profanity such as this. Consider this your one and only warning. Cad64 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 There is no need for me to explain why your language is inappropriate. You know what you wrote. In fact, you had to deliberately write it in such a way that it would circumvent our swear filter. So you knew exactly what you were doing. What I stated in my previous post was a warning to let you know that if you continue to post profanity you will be banned. We do not tolerate that type of language on this forum. Quote
