Stermo Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 to ask you have a any method to make two objects with various dimensions on the rooms to become equal, without change the dimensions on the walls only to change rooms I hope I was able to explain mine question... Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Stretch? Mirror? Wish the image on the bottom was large enough to read the dimensions. Can you post a copy of the actual DWG file? Quote
Stermo Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 Test.dwg I try with scale to change the dimensions but with scale change everything. I don't want to change walls dimensions(25sm) I only want to make the rooms same by size Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) I don't recall mentioning the use of the Scale command. OK. Are you trying to make the building on top the same size as the building on the bottom? The building on top is on layer "0" in color white. The building on the bottom is on multiple layers and it is also fully dimensioned. Edited January 11, 2012 by ReMark Quote
Stermo Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 I want to change size on all rooms. Rooms on second drawing(whoever has more information) to become like first drawing rooms Quote

ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Here you go. Had to save it in 2010 file format. Test_Rev1.dwg Quote
Stermo Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 yes exactly but bottom drawing to take size on the top drawing.Which command is used... Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 They are now both the same size. That is what you wanted right? Quote
eldon Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I think that this is a trick question, like where is the magic button? As I see it, the top drawing is the correct size, and the OP wants all the detail and dimensions from the bottom drawing to be magically transferred to the top drawing and all dimensions altered to suit, without the hassle of actually drawing them. Are the dimensions exploded or is that just the conversion in DWG TrueView? Quote
Stermo Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) Yes but, You are did First drawing to be like a second but I want Second drawing to be like a First drawing Yes I want to make this magic Edited January 11, 2012 by Stermo Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Yes but, You are did First drawing to be like a second but I wantSecond drawing to be like a First drawing Funny, that's what I had asked about but you did not provide a clear answer. I think eldon is about to help you so I'll drop out of the conversation. Quote

ReMark Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Scale it as close as you can then use the Stretch command to arrive at the final product. Quote
rkent Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 yes exactly but bottom drawing to take size on the top drawing.Which command is used... There is no magic button, you will have to use the stretch command and adjust each room, one at a time. Quote
