3smees23 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Hi, I have hatched some cables in CAD, however when i export it to a PDF they look completely different. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please see the attachment. Cheers Sam CAD Hatching Problem.pdf Quote
ReMark Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 How are they different? Does the hatch not show up? Quote
3smees23 Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 The bottom image is the scrrenshot taken from CAD. The lines are really smooth and they are the same thickness. On the top screenshot the lines are jagged (if you look closely) and there are some large circles on the orange lines. Quote
ReMark Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Quality issues plague PDFs to such an extent I don't know why we have become so dependent on them. You'd be better off sending a PNG file. No quick solution comes to mind at the moment. But hang in there, someone else may have a suggestion for improving the output. Quote
Organic Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Instead of using hatches, use polylines with global widths - it will work better. Quote
SLW210 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Can you post some portions of the .dwg file? Quote
