sophie_1516 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I am using windows 7 on my macbook pro. I am using autoCAD 2010. I can create and save files, however I can't open them. When trying to open a file, a message pops up saying "Cannot find the specified drawing file. Please verify that the network drive is available and the file exists." Please help. Quote
ReMark Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 AutoCAD cannot find your files. Is the path to them clearly defined in Options > Files tab > Support Files Search Path? Quote
sophie_1516 Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 yes, it takes me to my computer. Quote
ReMark Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Then why is AutoCAD looking to the network to open the files? Quote
sophie_1516 Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 I added a Support Files Search Path and it worked perfectly. Thanks for everything. Quote
