Viewport Problems

Running Autocad 2010 at work, I am laying out my viewports, and suddenly when I am double clicking to get into a viewport so I can change the scale, it is not letting me in the viewport, but making a copy of the viewport. I have hit esc about a million times, and Im not sure what to do, mayne I accidently changed a variable? How can I fix this?

Not only am I getting a copy, the x,y cooridnate is showing up like it is being arrayed.

Could you post the file or at least some images?

Yeah give me a minute. I realized that the origin cross hairs are showing up, and that but they are actually viewports. If i click on the origin crosshairs, then the border of the viewport shows up, but is it only showing up when I click into a viewport that I can actually see. All viewports that I can see are on a nonplotting layer, but I cant see what layer the viewports are on that are not showing their border

Are you double clicking in the viewport or on its border?

Try restarting AutoCAD.

Try setting SPACESWITCH to 1, it might be set to 0.

Nevermind, I figured it out. For some reason when I made a copy of a viewport, it made a copy of the others on a different layer and that layer was frozen.

Viewport was not locked, I checked. I must have hit a shortcut key and didnt realize it. I am always drawing at about a million miles per hour, and it has happened before where I type the wrong shortcut key and mess something up. Usually just look at LIST to see what I did, but it gave me no answer this past time.
