Hi I’m in a bit of a pickle

I created a DWF drawing from a PDF file. It was created but not to scale...the dimensions on the drawing says 6' but when i measure it its3'7"1/16.... My question is how do i scale it.. i tried using the scalecommand and referenced the entire drawing to a line a drew that was 6' long....but still it was incorrect? what don’t i know?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

divide 72" by 43 1/16" and then scale the entity by that factor.

no worries, your not the first to ask and likely won't be the last, if its not something you have to handle often it's easy to forget :) and welcome to CADtutor :)

SCALE with the reference option should have worked.

Command: _scale xxxx found < Select everything you want to scale

Specify base point: < Pick the first point of the distance that's supposed to be 72"
Specify scale factor or [Copy/Reference]: R

Specify reference length <0'-1">: Specify second point: < Pick the other point that's supposed to be 72" away
Specify new length or [Points] <0'-1">: 72
