Locking a dwg file that has been turned into a PDF file on AC 2012 LT

1. How can I lock a file in dwg so that when it is saved, it is password protected?

2. If I want to SEND that file in PDF form to a customer, how can I password protect or lock it so the customer can not edit it?

AutoCAD drawings can be password protected but if you forget the password you can kiss you drawing goodbye as there will be no way to break the password even by brute force.

I don't believe you can password protect your PDF file.

Your AutoCAD Help files contain the ncessary information and instructions on password protecting a drawing.

Look at Security Options.

Remember you cannot open/edit the drawing without the password.
