Did you ever find a solution for this? I am also wondering how to do it in Inventor without Inventor Professional. I can do it in AutoCAD using offset in 2D or revolve and union in 3D but I'd like to learn how to do it in Inventor.

For now I just drew it in ACAD and imported it into Inventor.

Do you still need to know how to do it the easy way (in Inventor)?

I would like to learn how to do it in Inventor; I'm sure I will have to do it again soon.

drain 90.ipt

This is the easy way to do it in Inventor.

Or at least, it's an easy way. You'll have to change the position of the circles - I don't think the alignment is quite the way you wanted, but the principle is the same.

Perhaps a stupid response, but doesn't inventor have a sweep tool? Tons of demos and tutorials around.
