I just can not make sense of the tutorial in F1 on how to set chamfer and Fillet. I have tried but just can not get it to do anything.

I may have maladjusted some other setting. Operator error for sure. I do not need to use these functions for anything else but the 3 shown in the attachment.

Any help in simple commands for these 3 steps would be appreciated.

a-b Start the Chamfer command, note in the command line the option for Distance, type D, enter, now it asks for the length of the first side, pick the intersection of the rectangle at the lower left, now pick the intersection near b, now repeat only use a for the second intersection point. Now hit the space bar to re-enter the chamfer command, pick the rectangle's horizontal line then the vertical. (If the length is the same then you can hit enter for the second distance rather than pick the two points)

c-d, e-f, same procedure as above

g-h-i - Start Fillet command, type R for radius, pick the lower left corner, then the middle of the horizontal line, hit space bar to go back into fillet, pick the vertical and horizontal line, repeat for the other side.
