Setting correct scale or Dimensions in a drawing

Recommended Posts

IN this drawing, I want the 9.00 to be either 4 ( feet) or 48 (inches).

How do I set the correct scale in this or any drawing?

Thank You.

In AutoCAD, we always want to draw at "full size", so if you want the dimension to read 4 feet (48 inches) you actually make the part 48 inches.

Assuming you want everything to remain in the same proportions, I would use the SCALE command, with the Reference option.

Thank you. It was a little confusing to me but that video did the trick.

Merci Beaucoup again!
