audit takes hours..

hi all,

im working with xref files, and some files include education stamps ets, im using this commands for each file (thousands files)

audit y

purge all

dxfout

dxfin

save as dwg

so im searching for a lisp for it, and when i did audit, it takes too much time, maybe half an hour for each file. (files about 1,5 mb)

Sounds about right. You do realize that DXF files can be three to four times the size of a DWG file? Which means that a 1,5MB DWG file could end up as a 4,5MB DXF file. With 3GB of RAM (I'm guessing that this is a 32-bit system) you're going to experience a performance hit.
