CADGUY7779 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Can you tell me if there is a way to freeze a layer in one paper space tab and go to the next tab, same drawing, and unfreeze that layer and it not change the previous tab? Did that make any sense? Quote
rkent Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Use the VP Freeze column for that, it considers the layout as a VP so it works, just tried it. Quote
CADGUY7779 Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Nope, didnt work. one drawing with 4 paper space tabs. In the model space there are 3 different layers, in each paper space tab i want to freeze different layers. Is this possible? Quote
rkent Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Go to a layout, make the VP current and use layermanager to freeze a layer or layers using the VP Freeze column. Go to next layout and freeze the layers you don't want to see in that VP. If this is not what you are after try describing in more detail what you are after. You have said "in each paper space tab", I assume you are working with viewports and you want the layers showing in model space through the viewport on each layout. Quote
CADGUY7779 Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 that is correct, let me try....THANK YOU!!!! Works like a dream!!!! Quote
