mari5 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I can't paste any object only in one drawing, any ideas? Quote
memphis710 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Hi There, What do you mean can't paste? Does an error show up in the command line when you try and paste, is the paste option not available or do your pasted objects just not show up? Cheers Ollie Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If you mean copy from one draing to another just use Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V to paste Quote
SLW210 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 What version created the drawing? Did you try an audit on the drawing? Try saving it to 2000 or older and reopening. Can you post the drawing? Quote
mari5 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 Not error,Just doesn't show up, I tried from many diferent drawings. Quote
ReMark Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Did you try the key combination of to paste the object? Yes/No/Where is the Ctrl key? Quote
mari5 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 The darwing is made in MEP 2012 and I am working on it with AUTOCAD 2012LT and saved to 2005.I already run an audit. Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I assume you have zoomed extents, checked units and the appropriate layers are on etc? After you have pasted, if you go to insert block is it in the list? Have you tried making a new file with just the the block in it, xrefing the new file then binding the drawing. Long winded but might work. Quote
ReMark Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Any chance this drawing was worked on by someone using AutoCAD 2007? Quote
mari5 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 I checked what you said. After I insert a block it is not on the list. This drawing doesn't allow to be copied or to paste somthing inside it. Quote
mari5 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 Please tell me how could I post a drawing here? Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Click "Go Advanced" select the attachment button (paperclip) and follow the instructions. Quote
ReMark Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 AutoCAD LT 2010. Are you current with all updates? Quote
Bartjacks Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 check and make sure that all your layers are on and not frozen in the drawing your pasting into. Quote
memphis710 Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Do post the drawing if you can. Someone here will fathom out your problem My first thought was a frozen or off layer. Seems odd there is no error in the command bar. Ollie Quote
