Hronay Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I have a problem at the office that causes a lot of frustration and I wonder if there is a solution: I insert a block with attributes for room numbering (the visible attribute shows the number, some invisible ones show area, room name and so on). The I inset a tag for say, the door and I link the tag to the room number. Then I copy both blocks to other rooms and I have to change only a digit in the room number and regenerate (fieldeval=31) and all the door tags are updated. The problem starts when I add an annotation scale to the room number. In this case, after closing and reopening the drawing, all the fields in the door tag appear as #### and all the work is lost. Any ideas? Quote
Dadgad Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 (edited) Welcome to the forum. On LEEMAC's site I believe I saw a few lisps for working with blocks of this type, which would renumber themselves among other interesting reactive features. You would do well to look there, if you have not done so previously. http://lee-mac.com/numinc.html Edited April 18, 2012 by Dadgad Quote
