To make a long story short... My blocks built in v2012 and earlier are totally busted. Actions are missing, stretch functions now scaling, grips disappearing. In other words completely unusable.

Blocks are a vital part of our workflow and rebuilding our library is not an option (at this point). I have not yet tried to rebuild any blocks in 2013 as one, I shouldn't have to, two, there is no time to do so, and three, I don't know if they will work properly anyway. So, We are reverting back to v2012 until Autodesk does their job and fixes this.

I am posting this as a heads up to others thinking of making the switch. Also if anyone else has encountered this, what they might have done to make things work.

I will add that I was thrilled with some of the improvements that were added. Unfortunately, This version goes on the shelf for now.

The issue has already been raised at the AutoDesk Discussion Group in the AutoCAD 2013 forum but it probably bears repeating here as well.

There seems to be a whole host of problems with 2013 some of which allegedly affect 2012 as well if it is currently on one's system.

Indeed... I have noticed some minor issues with 2012 since I installed 2013.

Frankly I was hoping for some tidying up of the block editor in 2013 (it has always been a bit buggy). What we got was the opposite.
