Hi buddies. I just need some intuitive help from you. Im planning to do some house models. Here are the descriptions:

1. 3D

2. With realistic texture/ Material

3. With sunlight, shadow, environment, other effects and background.

4. Can be rotated. can be walked-through, (Let's say my client want to see both interior and exterior like he's roaming around the model)

Can autocad2010 do that 4 ,all at the same time? If not, what software do I need to do those 4 things simultaenously.

Thanks a lot!

Make sure you have the full version (not LT) of ACAD2010...LT does not have the 3D components/capabilities.

The book happens to cover both the full and lT versions of AutoCAD, thus the title. But Bill is correct when saying only the full version is 3D capable.

Since the OP's profile says "AutoCAD 2010" (no mention of LT) and given the nature of his question I assumed we were talking the full version.

I know the OP has listed ACAD2010; but sometimes people think they are getting a GREAT deal with LT for a couple hundred bucks...I just wanted to make sure!

Be cool Bill...no offense was intended.

LT now sells for $1200 (U.S.). Not such a great deal in my opinion. LoL

No offense taken...I was actually typing and posting when your comment came in. So, I didn't see your response until after I had posted. Still cool, here.

I didn't realize LT price was up that high! Wow! That's almost half the price of the full version! I must agree about the deal not being so great.

What are your computer specs?

Some of the things you listed are very processor and graphics intensive, so you will need to have a pretty decent system.

I believe the new pricing for full AutoCAD is $4,295 (U.S.) although it might be "discounted" back to $3,995.

Lucky you... in Europe: €4,755 (EUR) for full version 2013 and € 1,450 for LT
