help recovering an old file or two

I have some older files supplied by an A/E firm back in 2000 that won't open up in 2012 or 2013, I am hoping someone with an older release will be able to open them.

If you can open the file, save and repost. I would be grateful.

Tried opening xgm-1-0-.dwg with a CAD viewer (CADwizz) but got this as a result.

Same goes for the other drawing as well.

Thanks for trying, I appreciate it. I put in a subscription support case I will see if that does any good.

I also tried opening one of the drawings using DraftSight. It said a recovery was necessary so I said "sure, go ahead" but nothing ever came of it.

I'm sure we have a couple of forum members running 2000 if I am not mistaken.

Had you already tried DWG TrueView?

I had tried with TrueView 2013, just tried 2011, both say invalid file.

I think I have r14 and 2000i so I am installing it to see if it will work on Win7 64, and if it can open the files.

I have access to 2000 but I don't have it installed.

You will not be opening those files no matter the version. I opened in Notepad and there is no header.
