How to convert 2D polyline into 3D polyline using AUTOCAD 2012?

2D3Dpoly - converts a 2D polyline to a 3D polyline entity (VLX Lisp for AutoCAD).

This one is the best free 3D Polyline join lisp that I have found. It is free but the author restricts people from posting the code online.

Simply select all of the objects that you want joined and voila... (even splines and eliptical arcs)

To use the lisp routine mentioned in the above post one would have to first add at least one 3D polyline to the drawings then by "joining" all the 2D polylines to this one 3D polyline the "conversion" would take place. Is that correct?

CADTOOLS is free and has both the convert 2Dpolylines to 3D polylines and join 3d Polylines.
