ReMark Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Could you rephrase the question? I can't figure out what it is you're asking. Quote
bartymic Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 i have closed polyline and need to fill it with a hatch. i know the way by Hatch and Gradient in Model. so i want to ask if it is possible to fill closed polyline also in VP Plot Style, especially in PLot Style Table Editor. Quote
designerstuart Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 i don't think so. are you trying to 'fill' multiple polylines by switching a button somewhere in plot styles? Quote
MSasu Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 So, your goal is to have all closed polylines filled with a hatch pattern, but to see this only on paper and not on screen? For sure, you cannot achieve this from plot's settings. You have two workarounds: add manually those hatches (may find an AutoLISP routine for this) and either (1) place them in a frozen layer that will the thawed only at plot time or (2) set the FILLMODE system variable to 0. But pay attention that second solution may affect display of other entities too. Quote
bartymic Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 thanks. so what functions is Fill Style for? Layer properties manager > VP Plot Style > plot style table editor > Fill style Quote
MSasu Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 That will afect "filled" entities, for example solid patern hatches. But for his practical purpose, I'm really not able to give you an example. Quote
