Help! What did I do? Fields can't up date!

I have a couple fields in my title block. For the last few years, all I did for manual updates was doubleclick on the text, rightclick and chose update. I'm not sure how I did it. But now doubleclicking on the text just brings up the quick properties. I use the update field feature a lot. I know is something I changed inadvertently, but I don't know what. It is affecting all drawings and even my template. any help would be appreciated.

Did you figure this out yet? If so, please let us know the result. If not, tell us what the properties say about the object. Better yet, apply LIST to it, and report what that says.

Does the UPDATEFIELD command work? If so simply use that, maybe add a two letter alias to your acad.pgp.

Nope. I have not solved the problem. I was wasting to much time trying to figure it out. So I just deleted the offending fields and created a new ones doing the same thing.

What is your FIELDEVAL variable set to?

Might it be 0?
