Sawadee Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I tried to install Autocad 2013 on a brand new HP Pavilion dv7 but the installation failed with the error 1622 & 1619: "Install Autodesk material library 2013 failed, installation aborted, result=1622". Does anybody have the same problem ? It's urgent as my daughter needs it for her architecture studies. Quote
Dadgad Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Welcome to the forum. Did you turn off your anti-virus software before installing it? Is the program itself working? Quote
Sawadee Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 I did turn off the anti-virus but the program still doesnt work. Quote
Dadgad Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316309 This might help you. Here are a couple more... http://desktopengineer.com/msierrors http://www.sevenforums.com/software/251083-software-installation-problem.html Quote
Sawadee Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 Thanks Dadgad for the links. If I look at the last link, it's exactly the same problem that occurs with the 2013 version. Maybe some anti-virus programs did running in the background? Maybe I need to give autorisation to the "NTFS Liste du dossier/lecture de donnees"? I will try to disable the anti-virus programs by the "end task feature" and reinstall Autocad.. Quote
Sawadee Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 Ok, I will do the Repair first. Hope this will fix the problem! Quote
