klrskies Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I'm using Mechanical 2010. I keep my "Properties" window docked on the right side of my screen. I've run like this for several years, but recently when I click on an entity, it takes a few seconds to regenerate the window...what would cause it, and what would fix it? I running XP on a 16 bit machine with 4 gig of ram. Quote
Dadgad Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Try using your QUICK PROPERTIES instead, you can customize it to display only the information which you want to see, and you can specify different information for all of the numerous different entity types. The image shows you the information which I have specified that I want to see if I select a viewport, for instance. Quote
klrskies Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the response. A bit more detail... I used quick properties with less information, and it too is slow. With no properties at all visible, its Fast...no delays. Now I'm getting a warning I'm running out of memory. Edited October 2, 2012 by klrskies Quote
