jomama Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I want to break a line into thirds or fourths. Quote
iainlines Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 DIVIDE command, assuming it still exists Quote
ReMark Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Either use the MEASURE or DIVIDE command. Might want to change your POINT settings (PDMODE and PDSIZE). Quote
jomama Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Thank you got it. To use the points I need to turn on object snap as well. Quote
ReMark Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 No. POINTS do not rely upon SNAP being enabled. Quote
rkent Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 No. POINTS do not rely upon SNAP being enabled. I would imagine they meant osnap is needed (node) to break the line at those nodes. I would scale the line by 1/3 with the reference option and copy it end to end twice. (And by .25 for fours, etc.) Or there is probably a nice lisp routine from leemac to do all this for us. Quote
