Jessica28 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 When starting the distance command and picking your first point you can see a tracking line (or whatever you would call it) so you know where you started...But in one particular drawing i dont see that line that is supposed to move with your cursor. Every other drawing i've looked at you can see it.......I guess a work around would be just creating a new drawing but does anyone know if that is a system variable that controls this or something?.... tonyj Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Make sure that you have F11 turned on in the particular drawing that you are having the trouble with. Quote
Dadgad Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 In order for this to work you will need to have your OSNAPS turned on, and or, at least one, say endpoint selected. You could use F12 to turn on your DYNAMIC INPUT, then you should be very happy. Quote

Dadgad Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Sorry, I was late to this particular party, it started at 11:21 pm local time. Quote
Jessica28 Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 dragmode or the other stuff posted didnt work....Or i should say dragmode does work but as i investigated further i realized that the line is there but in this particular drawing it's black. So i just couldnt see it on a black background...What would make that tracking line black in one drawing like that? Quote
Dadgad Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 What is the LAYER COLOR set to? Try using color 7 in the LAYER MANAGER as the color for your 0 layer, which will be black on a white background, and white on a black background. Quote
